Warehouse & Facility
Our vertically integrated production facility is established on a 0.5-hectare site, which includes 0.1 hectares of building infrastructure. At this facility, we perform advanced operations—including hulling, shelling, blanching, peeling, drying, sorting, grading, dicing, dry roasting, color sorting, and nut butter manufacturing—with a total capacity of 30 tons per 8-hour shift.
Α. Shelling (nut cracking / shells removal): 10 tons
B. Sizing and Grading: 7 tons
C. Sorting pistachios Split / non split pistachios: 4 tons
D. Blanching: 1.6 ton per 8 hours
E. Roasting (dry roasting with sea salt and/or citric acid-lemon): 1.8 tons
F. Dicing: 1.8 tons
G. Color sorting: 4.0 tons
H. Paste / butter making: 1.2 tons.
Ι. Glass jar or pillow packing: 1.2 tons.
To ensure the optimal conservation and shelf-life of our dried nuts, our facility features a 45-ton capacity cold storage chamber, a warehouse with a 200-ton total storage capacity, and a 20-ton fumigation chamber. Makin Nuts is deeply committed to environmental sustainability; all our operations are powered by a clean energy system and a 30 kW photovoltaic solar tracking system, ensuring significant energy savings and a green carbon footprint.
